COLOMBO, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Visitors to Sri Lankan national parks can purchase tickets online from Sunday, the Department of Wildlife Conservation announced.
The department said the measure was introduced after tourists experienced long delays due to queues at various parks. Tickets can be purchased through the official website of the department.
Sri Lankan national parks are popular among both local and foreign tourists. Official data showed that national parks earned a revenue of 3.08 billion rupees (about 10 million U.S. dollars) in the first half of 2025.
