COLOMBO, April 6 (Xinhua) -- All Sri Lankan state-owned hospitals will be digitalized and redesigned, the Ministry of Health and Mass Media said on Sunday, quoting Minister Nalinda Jayatissa.
The minister said modernization and digitalization are vital to providing accessible, convenient, and efficient healthcare services to the people.
Digitalizing the healthcare system will help the government to manage the workforce and data of hospitals, to digitalize health records and streamline the pharmaceutical supply chain, Jayatissa said.
