COLOMBO, June 3 (Xinhua) -- More than 130,000 tourists visited Sri Lanka in May 2025, according to the latest data from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

A total of 132,919 tourists arrived in May 2025, marking an 18.5 percent increase compared to May 2024, the data shows.

From January to May 2025, more than 1,029,000 tourists visited Sri Lanka, SLTDA data shows.
