ISLAMABAD, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan won the 15th West Asia Baseball Cup after defeating Palestine 11-3 in the final here on Wednesday evening.

Pakistani captain Faqir Hussain was the leading scorer of the match with three runs, while Arsalan Jamshaid, Muhammad Hussain and Fazil Khan scored two runs each.

Earlier on Wednesday, Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh 3-1 to finish third.

The event kicked off on January 27, featuring Pakistan, Palestine, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal.
